When I type I get ++++++++++ running across my screen..Why is that? How do I fix it?.+.?

The + key seems to be stuck in the down positon or you need a new keyboard.

Did you press the + key?
Maybe you held the key down too long.

Did you accidentally hit the show/hide button? (Next to the percentage.) Click it again to turn it off.
