Hi I'm 43 and 5'1 and a half. Size like all our other physical attributes are down to genetics I'm afraid. I had a tall grandfather (6'1) and a very pettit grandmother - much the same as me. Then I had to inherrit 'short' genes from my other grandparents. My height hasn't been a problem to me except for reaching in the kitchen cupboards. I hope you will come to see your stature in a positive way and to be happy being the person you are. There are famous 'vertically challenged' people out there - Ronnie Corbet, Lester Piggot and all the other jockeys ... you don't ride a horse do you? It would be an advantage being our height then.

Hmm....i get your problem....you dont feel like going out or be confindent ....right???
Its due to your genes.
This is due to the shortage in production of HGH(Human Growth Hormone) from the pituitary gland located
This hormone is effective till the age 20....after that the leg bones get fixed and dont grow.
There is a way but dont go for surgery....if you are totally sure cause first that way is not natural and is painful

You might want to go check it out.
But if both your parents are short, you most likely got short genes.
I can sympathize with you. I'm around your height both my parents are short, but on my ID, I put 5'4 when I'm really around your height. After 21 your pretty much done and there isn't any ting else you can do. Some above mentioned surgery I saw a special on TV about it, its EXTREMELY PAINFUL and your be on crutches for a long time, and what you gain is about 2-3inches. They separate your bones and allow them to reattach to themselves.

Have you seen a doctor yet? An endocrinologist is a good place to start. they deal with hormonal disorders and growth hormones kinda thing.
But you may have missed the boat to correct the hormones. 21 years old is pretty old for that kinda treatment. Several other ways towards bone lengthening may be your other choice.

I'm really sorry it upsets you so much but the thing is there is nothing you can do to change it so you've got to focus on positives rather than seeing it as a negative. Look at Tom Cruise he's done OK.

Well I don't know what to tell you because male puberty lasts until they are about 21, give or take a year, so you might just have to deal with it.
