I actually download tiny versions of the band and make them play live.


I don't understand the question. Do you mean are the digital files from the masters as opposed to being ripped from CD? Yes, mostly.

yeah, most of them are. and some are ones i buy from iTunes. sometimes, I find mp3 on peoples websites and i save the song to my windows media player. with that, i burn an audio cd with windows media player and import that to iTunes.
if a song isn't an iTunes media file, you can select that song in your iTunes library and go to the 'advanced' tab at the top and 'convert the selection to iPod'

they are the same recordings you would buy in the store. The only good thing is you can purchase only the songs you want to listen to.

Not really. They are digitized copies of the original tunes. Are they by the original artists? Yes.
