EXACTLY!!!!!!!!, the same for vampires, let me explain, now the vampires main objective is to feed on humans blood right, and yet they come out in night time, where there is usually little human activity or contact, which is dumb, now many say they come out at night to protect themselves from the day

yet again this is a load of bulls**** because they do not need protection from day light, i say this because, no object is light proof except a black hole, or in lament, light has the ability to pass through any object, just on microscopic levels, I'm sure in their 50-9000 years of living that the sun has entered their burial chamber at least once, unless they are under the ground, if the light has the ability to pass through any object on a microscopic level than surely it penetrated the coffin, and pierce they're skin, unless they do not actually need the cover of night fall, for protection, just to cover they re ugly faces,

what are your thoughts on this ???

no one ever said that light was harmful or painful to vampire. the movies just over exaggerate. they just dont like the day, thats all. they feel more comfortable in the night so they choose only to come out at night. and you would be surprised how many humans go out at night. and most vampires are beautiful, thats how they draw their victims in. but they just dont like day light, no one ever said that they would die if they got touched by it did they? no, no one ever did, the movies just made it seem like that. sigh, **** Hollywood.

I know that you think you know alot about vampires, But did you know they depends on their deed being a well kept secret. Why? well in order for them to do their dirty deeds would you think that it is smart to murder some one in the day time when the street are full of people and your chance of getting caught rises to maybe 90% or do your dirty deed when it is dark and your chances of getting caught drop down to lets say 10%. Also all vampires and were wolf are processed by demons (fallen angels) that have the knowledge of the ages working for them. Now with that kind of knowledge I do not believe that they are stupid. Now here is something that you may not know, That according to legends that you can see what a vampire really looks like in day light which means that their magic can not hide what they look like from the general public. They will see a rotting corpse walking down a street and the smell alone could change you eating habit for years to come. As well as help you up-chuck anything that you may already have in your stomach. Also a mirror has the same effect om them as daylight. I don't have the time or will to type out all I know about mystical creatures. But I can say this what ever you may know or think that you may know maybe never be enough to keep you alive. So I say keep on researching and never take anything for granted... Have a nice day..........................................................

It isn't the light that hurts them they can be exposed to light... It is direct sunlight. Their skin becomes ultra sensitive to the UV rays in the sunlight and much like the disease where people can not be exposed to sunlight because they will receive extreme burns. Only in the case of a vampire. Their disease, which is know by various names... the most prominent ones being: Porphyria and I believe Vampirus Nocturnum, essentially removes their melanin so that UV rays severely damage the skin. The interesting thing however is they have abnormal healing rates and that stems mostly from absorbing the plasma from blood. The blood cells go through their system and are excreted. All they truly need is the plasma....

ummm hope that helps.

Not to push this idea much further but all the stories and myths about vampires, not one mentioned that daylight was deadly or harmful to them, until the making of the film Nosferatu in 1922, all prior myths and folk stories as well as previous vampire novels (including those pre-dating Bram Stoker's) did not believe daylight to be harmful but merely that they were night creatures much like bats, and though they would not be as strong as after having slept during the day they were still quite formidable.

But....it's fiction

That is nothing. Why the he!! do they only feed on Christians who were crosses and carry holy water? Why don’t they just move to some non-Christian country?

those kind of vampires are purely fiction....real vampires are very much human and feed on another's energy or auras not blood.
