Were you really looking for the person you would spend the rest of your life with? Were you dating casually? Did you fall in love? Did you break up with someone, or did they dump you?

I'm still in highschool but maybe i can answer for you neway. Dating in highschool to me just isn't a real big deal. I'm not looking for someone to spend the rest of my life with. I'm not looking to fall in love. If there's a guy I really like a flirt around a bit and have some fun and if they ask me out I might say yes, I might not. It's just all fun and games to me. I'm not trying to hurt anyone though. And even though I didn't really think I could fall in love at this age I think I might have, but idk about spending the rest of my life with him or anything. I'm just living the moment which to me is the best anyone can do. Enjoy life cause your stuck with it like it or not.

Never dated in high school or college for that matter. I had my first date at 25 and married him 3 years later. Your education is more important than dating. And yes I was a virgin bride when I married my husband at the age of 28.

(don't laugh)

All i wanted was to date a girl. I was in a very religious male only school and the first time I had a real conversation with a girl was only after I finished school.

I fell in love, never broke up or was dumped... and never had a relationship or even a gf;)

my life changed slightly after school tho...

Once I turned 16, I took dating Serious..

I got into a serious relationship with a guy that year. I started dating him on my 16th birthday, to be exact. I had dated other guys before him. He was almost 5 years older than I , I met him when I was 13 ..he was a friend of my older sister and her boyfriend. ( no, we did not date before I was 16..he called me that day and asked me out to dinner )

I am still with him today...13 years later...

I dated a few different people, but it was nothing serious at all. The longest relationship only lasted about 6 months. I didn't start dating more seriously til college.

i don't take high school dating seriously...what are the chances that you will marry your high school sweetheart? What will happen when you both go off to different colleges or meet new people in college? It is tough....but yes i have seen couples that have been going out for 5-6 years and they are incredibly happy...they are seniors now... I wonder what they will do when they go off to college....i dunno.....it all depends on the person...personally, i believe--u have ur WHOLE life ahead of you and ur still so young in high school

just my opinion! :)

Happy Holidays!

I am married to my high-school sweetheart (we've been together over 20 years), so yes, I took it seriously. I'm not saying your heart won't swell and/or break a hundred times before that happens, though...
