The copper pipe for a gas considerable will purely be nicely worth some pence on the main from a scrap service provider. The act of endangering existence in this way, fantastically a youthful reasonable a infant, could desire to be dealt with somewhat harshly via the regulation. i think of you may desire to write to your MP explaining approximately what has befell, in an attempt to get a regulation to the end result exceeded. i'm very extremely joyful to pay attention which you're all ok nonetheless.

It would be safer to replace the pipe with an iron one, thats what I have. The cable cover may not be big enough for a 22mm pipe.

If you put different metals together it'll form a corrosion due I think to an electrolytic action between them.
Better to find a plastic conduit pipe or similar.

Maybe rain-gutter material to cover it would work for you if it is close to the wall.
