Some people literally cannot imagine "enough" in the sense you seem to mean: "not want anymore." I find it rather easy, myself: enough to pay my expenses and still have enough over for little gifts and self-indulgences once in awhile. A couple of thousand a month would probably be enough; certainly $3,000 would be.
I don't have anything near that much at the moment.

I won a lottery sometime back and it changed my life forever. For the worse,as I'm a complete disaster.I was much happier when i was just making a living.I believe you should make alot of money gradually so it sinks in at a different perspective.Don't get me wrong i love the money but it has changed me for the worse, and i have lost just about all my friends. Please be happy with what you have ,one day i hope you understand.Just keep money in perspective and as you make more money or get a windfall, you will appreciate it in the long run.Tough rules but its a good foundation for life.Good Luck to you

more, more, more. I have made more than that, and less than that, it seems my spending changes with what im making, it all goes somewhere anyway. My boss makes about 15k a month, and he says that he couldnt survive on what im making, although 15 years ago he was making the same as I. It just depends on the person, and his wife of course.

Having had zero income for the last year plus (due to injuries from a terrible wreck) I'd be happy with much less.

Enough is when I can pay my bills (I don't live extravagently), have some in savings for emergencies, and give gifts at holidays and birthdays and weddings without being broke. Five k is more than enough!

That would be just fine for most of us. It depends on your goals. I would be happy if i could accumulate enough wealth that I could invest that sum away and be able to live off the interest and dividends.

I would like to have enough to keep my bills paid on time, every month, keep my cupboards full, and to build a home and have a nice dependable car and to ensure that my kids will always have everything that they need.

Depends on what makes you happy? If you really enjoy the work your doing, then compensation is secondary. What would make me happy is having enough money at my disposal to not have to work again.

I would just be happy to have my debts payed, off, espescially my student loan and medical bills so I can contribute more to the family budget.

human tendency: never stops hoping, dreaming & wanting.
so only if u r not a human, u can be made satisfied with a finite amount of substance. as for my case, i want 100000 to the power 100000000.....maybe i forgot to add a few more zeros....
