I have a 2005 Altima and everytime I get out and touch the door, I get shocked. I try to be smart and use the window, but go to open the back door it shocks me then.

Static electricity, worse in the winter when the air gets dry. Be VERY careful at the filling station that you don't throw a spark reaching for the gas nozzle and blow up the car.

it is mostly caused by static electricity. it is especially common during hot dry summers and freezing cold winters. i get alot of these shocks from my car whenever i drive to las vegas during the summer.

this is caused by static electricity ,it does it when you rub your clothes across the interior of the car ,this means you have velor interior ,because cloth is the only thing that will do that,,good luck,i hope this help,s.

something is not grounded. Maybe your power locks or windows ground wire fell off. Take to the dealer they should fix for little or no charge

Static electricity...caused by when your butt slides off the seat when you're getting out.

static elect. go to laundry dept and get anti static cling spray for your seats. you can also get cloth seat covers. cotton not nylon or other synthetics

somehow u are attracting static electricity.it could be the upholstery in your car or your clothes.
