I have had 3 babies by c-section. I have a 5 year old, a 2 year old, and a 3 month old. The doctor told me that I can have another one. He told me that the reason why they only want you to have 3 is because of scar tissue. They cut you in the same place everytime and each time scar tissue gets thicker and harder. It makes actually cutting you harder for your doctor and it takes longer to do it and it will take longer for you to heal. I think it depends on how well your body heals. If your like me and heal great and fast then maybe you can have as many as you want.
I would wait at least 1 year, no sooner. This will give your body time to heal. If your body is not strong enough then your new baby will suffer. You will not be able to supply the needed nutrients for a fetus.
Also, if you have only had one baby then you should think about VBAC, (vaginal birth after c-section). I wish I would have done this with my second but I was scared. Talk to your doctor about this. There are some risks associated with this. Good luck!!

Medically, you should never get pregnant less than a year from your delivery. It is a possible risk factor of the development of the baby as your hormones return to pre-pregnancy levels. There is no limit on how many children you can have by c-section. They just re-open where they did the time before, close it up and you develop new skin and heal.

Well, it depends on your overall health and whether or not your reproductive organs are OK. Your doctor can answer this question best. My friend has 6 kids and the last 4 were c-sections.

It really depends on your body! I got pregnant 3 times back to back with an incopitent cervix !! My kids are like 10-12 months apart! It was ok for me, but maybe not for you! Ask your OB what they think!!!
