I am a female, was married and hubby was the person that was the cheater. This was years and years ago. We had 2 small children at home. He told me he was going to night college, that was fine with me. Until one day I heard a car pull up 3 doors down. For whatever reason I looked out the window and it was him being dropped off by a female. I was so stunned as was both families. Everyone always said never would he or I have a unity problem. We did he cheated. Tried working through it to find he was still with her just more of a sneak. Finally would I just could not take more of the pain I filed for divorce. When it was granted he had the nerve to say to me oh I guess ------ was not a good enough last name for you. Now tell me, he was the reason the cause the cheat and last ditch effort he attempted to put it on me.

For sake of mini poll question...in my case it was him. Never really caught him...yet him leaving at 3 a.m. to do "paperwork " at the office, looking at cell phone display when it rang then putting it back in his pocket, little to no sex, change of pattern of attire and habits, all the sudden mad when I would 'go through his pockets' before putting pants in wash... Really ended it, in part, due to his rude comments to me and neglect of marriage. And, by the way, an embittered divorced ex-wife ? No...events happen, choice to divorce, healed, moved forward with a peaceful clear heart. So, how's that poll going. And, wonder why the need to know? By the way, I just read answer above me after I posted this. The question doesn't have to be "what did the wife do to cause the man's desire to cheat...sometimes the mans urge for variety is what foolishly draws him to seek out another. The 'she drove me to it' is a cop out answer.

I'm not sure who would be to blame, but infidelity happens because the couple do not or will not communicate. My last relationship ended when she came home from a "girls night out". I followed her into the bedroom a few minutes after she came home and caught her rinsing her panties in the sink. Her stuff went to the curb that same night. Been 4 years. I just don't need that kind of crap in my life.............

my wife cheated on me with the UPS guy. He was making deliveries to her work place and they would hook up during the day while I was at work earning money to put her 3 kids through college. He also made deliveries to my place of work and was taunting me via my co-workers. 36 of my co-workers drew up 36 complaints against this guy and he got fired. I went to court with 36 witnesses and devoiced my wife on adultery charges. 36 people drew complaints about my wife to her employer and she got fired. I threw a party for 36 co-workers and their families and had a ball. Moral of this story.......don't be immoral when your married to me, cuz hell hath no fury like my co-workers.

My husband cheated. He also stole money from my dieing father, prescription drugs from my uncle, robbed my personal bank account for a gambling habit, beat me and other abuse, sold drugs, used drugs, lied like a rug and a multitude of other things.

I should get best answer simply as a token for the crap I had to deal. How 'bout it???? :)

My ex-wife had an affair with a married guy.

I dumped my wife and the married guy dumped my wife and stayed with his wife.

So as a matter of statistics, woman = 1

It takes 2 to make the marriage to work and it takes 2 to have it all go to hell. Fact is, even when our spouse resorts to cheating, we have to ask ourselves: "What did I do or not do to have him/her do this?"
