I personally like R&B better, but hip-hop is nice too. It depends on who is rapping and what mood I'm in. Ludacris, Kanye West, Missy Elliott, and Snoop Dogg are my favorite rappers. Just because they seem a little bit more positvie or maybe you can understand what they are saying!

i like both but it depends on the mood if your having a fast upspeed day you might wanna listen to hip-hop to stay upspeed or r&b to calm down a little.

I would say R& B..I like artist like;Jodeci,112,boys 2 men,New Edition,Avant,Marques Houston,Jon-B.,Babyface,Dru-Hill,B2K,Bobby Valentino,Donnell Jones just to name a few. Hip-Hop is more on the Rap side. I like Hip-hop, when I go out clubbing, or when I want to bump my sounds in my car. Otherwise R&B is more deep, emotional. It makes you either reminise, or think of someone you care, cared about.

Don't they kinda fall in the same category? Only hip hop's more rap oriented, whereas R&B is more vocally oriented.
