Yep. I've named shells on the beach, Shelby, Candice, Freddie, Charlotte, Lance, and other names. Pencil names were Mack, Dorothy, Harriet, and Jeff as well . Oh, and boxes or container too, all the time. Gilbert, Tanya, Alex, James, Katie, and more. Call me weird, call me insane, but I mostly do this to keep my things organized, also because it's just my instinct whenever I notice someting special or odd. For me, it's just easier to remember things by names, that's probably why I almost never forget a name, even if I haven't seen that person in a century.

Yes, I named all my stuffed animals I've had over the years but I've only got one of those left and that is my frog whose name is Prince Charming and I use to call my car baby when I wanted it to not break down on me.

i named my car victory blue as i was driving her out of the parking lot. i bought a chevy cavalier five years ago and the first time i went there and wanted to buy another car but my credit history was popping up posing to be a problem for me so i waited two more days, went back and test drove my car (the one i ended up buying) and this time the sales men and the team were quite nice and willing to spend the time to search for a bank to help me with my loan and my past credit. finally, after seven hours at the dealership, i got the keys to my car. i got in the car and followed my husband home and before we even left the parking lot, i told JESUS thank you, thank you, thank you. then it came to me to name my new baby, VICTORY BLUE. she is a blue color car and victory because without JESUS on my side, i would not have been able to purchase my new car.
