The Bush administration promised the American public that Iraqi oil revenues would finance the invasion/war, occupation, and rebuilding.
The current US Iraq war expenditure is near $400,000,000,000 of US taxpayer dollars. 4 hundred billion!
When do we collect from the Iraq's?
Or do we Americans just eat it?......The lie and/or the money?

The War taxes imposed on the American People that were given to the military industrial complex, and it's shareholders will never be re-payed.
The profits from oil will also go directly to big business, and when eventually these oil revenues begin to be accounted for, then Iraqi's will struggle to make the interest payments on their American imposed debt.
So, the American Tax payer pays for the war, the oil continues to be stolen and unaccounted for, and in the future American companies effectively own the oil Iraq.
Mission Accomplished, so a few hundred thousand people died! That is of no concern what so ever to those who continue to get rich.

Yeah it would be good if the oil could pay for it. We took over the country so why not use it to help the american people. We work hard for what we get then our taxes take a large part of our paychecks and again when we buy something. Then it goes oversees. Its good to give but I think the oil would be a good way to give back to america and take the revenue and pay the war off and rebuild Iraq with it and then everybody is a happy camper.

The American Taxpayers' never, I mean never get repaid. The Super-Rich of America will profit. Those invested Oil, Weapons & Arms, and Government Contract will profit. Haliburton Contracts -Dick Chaney made emnorous profits. President Bush a Oil-Man and inside trader information on Government Contracts. Former US Military Generals on Board of Weapons & Arms Manufacturers. List goes on. Their investments are protected by Taxpayers' Money.
Middle East Oil control the world, Europe is totally Depended on it. But USA is not, USA export oil from North America. Alaska & Venezula.

Thanks to "The Decider" who has decided we're going to be in Iraq until February 31, 2094 we're just going to wind up eating it. That oil should start flowing when they have a foot of snow in Iraq on July 4 or when hell freezes over - whichever comes first.

That's a good question !!
Although I'm sympathetic to Iraq's situation, I still expect to be compensated .
It's a little too early to start demanding payment, but we should be vigilant to receive our 'compensation' for a debt, that is due !!

As you know, the answer is we eat it. Any money from the oil is reserved for the oil companies.

They take over when they take responsibility for their own defense. Why do they want to do that when they have someone to pay for it for them? Would you want to rush to take it over if someone were paying it for you? So we just eat it and accept the lies that are told us.

Democrats have been saying that we are taking all the oil for ourselves.
I wonder if they lied.
Could that be?
