I already do and quite frankly it scares the crap out of me. I know my weaknesses, my potentials and throughout all my trials in life, I wouldn't have it any other way, if that makes sense to you. I was forced in a position at a very young age, grew up faster and witnessed things in my lifetime that I'd rather not but hate to block it out- I don't want a bag over my head. I'm not saying I am better than anyone else, far from it- I just have a different understanding of how things operate.

No, cause I already change so much on so many things that I figure being aware of my emotions at any given time is all I can do that way I can explain why I suddenly changed my mind! :) I'm sure I've figured out some central likes, dislikes, beliefs and hopefully tendencies.

I don't really know.
I'd love to know myself completely because that would lead to a higher degree of comfort.
But i really don't think anyone can truly know themselves in the complete sense (likes, dislikes, beliefs, tendencies, etc...) unless they've done EVERYTHING in the world there is to do.
You just learn how you are in certain situations and with certain people.
But unless you've experienced everything, you're still a mystery.

I would agree with you. I doubt I'll ever understand myself completely or would ever want to. Right now I'm happy with my beliefs but with every day comes change and new circumstances. I don't think anyone can know there-self well enough to know what they will become tomorrow.

I know what i have done in a situation and will do it again. But an unknown situation will be totally new to me because i haven't even guessed who is in it or what they do. I don't know what my Brain will think at that time. I chose each second based on my experiences only. If my mind was not logical I would soon die.

we are ever changing beings, it's hard to know something that is always changing! i think we can get a deep sense of self, but perhaps never really know...
“The simplest questions are the most profound. Where were you born? Where is your home? Where are you going? What are you doing? Think about these once in a while, and watch your answers change.”

Never ~ this life is about discovering who we are. For me, that goes hand in hand with discovering who God knows I am. For others that may be different, but for me....I believe I will know myself completely when I realize what God has made me. Maybe I won't realize that until I'm two seconds away from dying, but the real magic is in the journey of the discovery :)

As a older women, it shocks me, when I change my thoughts and habits, see myself at times as being set in my ways, then to learn a new lesson about life and always trying to re-adjust

No. I'm 36 and find there are new things to like (and dislike) every day. I'm also considered by others to be mysterious, and I like it like that.
