What is wrong with taking out a membership when there is no cost involved. In fact, it helps because they can keep a record of your addresses and save any and all your favorite cards. I belong to Hallmark and I never have any trouble sending any amount of free e-cards all the time. I just sent 3 this week for various reasons. Go to Hallmark.com/e-cards and you can take it from there.

www.bluemountain.com has plenty of cards that are free, though they do also have a subscription plan. I believe www.123greetings.com does as well as www.hallmark.com.
You can easily do a web search to find these and more.
