Luckily the toy was for my boyfriend so I didn't have the embarrasment of attacking it with kids nearby. Although it did take 40 mins to get out of the box

Yes indeed. And this is not a problem that is unique to the Robosapien. Most of the other WowWee products are packaged this way. This even spurred RoboCommunity to write a tips & tricks article on how to best open one of these packages!

I got my Robosapien V2 last year, and had exactly the same problem !!!

Took 45 mins to get into the thing.

Arw wow wee robotix afraid that the robot will break out by itself and go on a rampage?

Yes it took me almost 2 hours to open my little brothers and then once we get it open he played with it for about 5 min. now it's sitting in the cornor of the room collecting dust.

Yeah, I had to attack the packaging with a kitchen knife. My niece thought it was most amusing, and made the comment that I was more dinosaur than the present. Humph!
