I would go out with him. My senior prom date was from India. I'm white, by the way. My best Filippina girl friend has an Indian boyfriend. My best Chinese girl friend's mother would like her to find a "handsome Indian boy" to marry. So, yes, girls from other cultures will date Indian men. The reverse is also true. My best Indian girl friend married one of my best white guy friends this summer.

I met an Indian girl at work she was very nice and asked me out I said ok. However she wanted to sneak me into her house after her family went to bed as she was worried her father would freak as he was very "traditional". She was also worried her brothers may attack me. I thought it best not to oblige this invitiation.
Although she had a professional career and had a very western outlook herself she could'nt seem to break away from this "traditional" grip her family seemed to have over her.
Recently here there has been many instances of guys being stabbed etc for going out with Indian girls in the UK.
I know not all Indians have such devout beliefs etc but I think it's really going to take time for their culture to meld a little better with our western ones.
I'm White if you think that is relevant.

I went out with a Gorgeous Indian Woman for a few months and I would have loved to have taken it further.. But . I couldnt put her through the constant stares & snide comments from all sections of the community .. white males wanted to know what it was like to bonk an Indian ...and kept asking did she stink of curry - down below... etc etc... Indians seemed to be OK! with it ..

Hell yeah! Most Indian ladies I've meet are nice, smart, and very, very hot! I had no problem with these ladies culture, they were cool. Skin color isn't a problem with me since I'm a black American, I've seen racism by all races towards each-other. And it's stupid. Culture, however, is a different issue. I had to learn about this Indian girls faith, Sikhism, it's very unique yet different from my own faith. So I would learn more about a person before stereotyping them from biased information I receive from television. I tend to like people from unique cultures.

I would not mind unless they were strongly religious. That would clash too much with my strong Atheist views.

If I knew him, and respected him, and liked him, yes I'd go out with him. But I'm not one of those people who'll go out with anyone who'll ask me
