I have a cast iron pot belly stove, but mine is a electric heater. The light and heater is in the belly of the stove. It has two controls one for the light one for the heater. It measures 26 tall 14 wide and 15 in depth. It weights about 70 pounds. Inside the bottom door it has the numbers 84115-7. That is all the information on it. I would like to know if this used to be a wood & coal stove or someone put I light and heater in it. What I need to know if this is a antique or a reproduction. If anyone has ever seen anything like this I would like to hear from you.

I have never seen anything like that and I have bought and sold wood stoves for years. It would take a pretty good heater to heat the cast iron. You can tell if it is wood or coal by the size of the door. A small door means a coal stove, wood stoves have a bigger door opening.

If it has a number inside the door and does not have a 'chimney' then you have a repro---old pot bellies were usually highly embellished with chrome as they were used in the parlor and not for cooking. If you like your stove and it is functional just enjoy it and quit worrying about whether it is worth a fortune or junk.
