Is it true that in love?

Question

When you're looking to astrology for compatibility, you should be looking to compare the mans MOON sign with the females VENUS sign to see how they'd relate in love? I've only heard that once but it stuck in my head.
So in that case me being a scorpio venus in scorpio & him being pisces moon in aquarius, seems like a tricky match huh? Thanks!

The planetary positions that are most important in romantic relationships are with the Moon, Venus and Mars. Also the ascendant, or rising sign, is important because that is the trait we express outward to the rest of the world. Many astrologers believe ascendants are more important than Sun signs. Wow. I don't know where you came up with that but totally wrong! There are a lot of things to look for when it comes to compatibilty; where planets fall in each others houses and all that. But just to try to keep it simple, maybe you meant with the female's Sun or Mars? And I'm a bit confused, are you saying you're a Scorpio with venus in scorpio and he is a Pisces with moon in Aquarius? Moon in a man's chart shows females in his life, property he may own, his family, etc. Venus shows what may attract him, but not necessarily marry, what he spends money on, etc..
First, you look to where his moon is, by that I mean by sign. Then you need to look at the house it is in. After that you look at the aspects it makes in his chart. Then you look at YOUR chart. And the moon in a chart represents many things.
Without knowing what you mean for sure, let me give you an example. If his moon is in Aquarius, it tells me first and foremost, any woman he is interested in must be his best friend. She must be intelligent. She must understnd his need for freedom, and by that I do not mean freedom to cheat, but freedom to be himself. Nagging will drive him nuts. Sometimes men with this will work nights or unusual shifts or at occupations not your run of the mill. They have an unusual mother, a missing mother, or the parents are divorced, or they have been adopted. They might seem to be emotionally cold, but they are not. And sometimes you think they care more about everybody else than they do you. Not true. It is an extremely humanitarian moon placement. There are many things to consider for compatibility, and you need to look at the ascendant, any aspects between the 2 of you, where your plantes fall in each others charts. It's called synastry. Do any of his planets fall in your ascendant sign or aspect it, the ruler, or vice versa. Are there any connections with the 7th house? What sign is your moon in? Will the two of you be able to relate emotionally? Where is your mars? What will you two agree or disagree on? Are they in sync? Sun trine sun is a great beginning. If I understand you are Scorpio, he is Pisces. Normally Pisces will drive Scorpio nuts because Scorpio is the most strongest sign. But if he has his moon in Aquarius that will give him more strength and be more of a challenge to you. But it all depends on the aspects and the other planetary plancements. Venus in Scorpio, what house is it in in your chart? Has more to do with money than love, and will tell me where that money is going to come from. You need to look to where your mars is. Venus, as a rule, rules females, and tells me you have more probability of inheritance, gaining money from others. Mars and Sun are what you should be looking at, not your Venus (unless your lesbian). For a man you look at his moon, venus, ascendant aspects, etc. Generally, Pisces with an Aquarius moon is dealing with issues of abandonment, or not feeling loved enough by his parents, which is why it is so important to him that a woman must first earn his friendship before he trusts enough to love her. And Scorpio understands what that means.
