I met a african in brazilian chat. i am brazilian, but i think i love him, because he s so lovely and i really like the way he talks to me. but i am so insecure about this love, because we don t have many chances to see each other. he told me he ll came to brazil to meet me, but i don t know what to do... please help me!!!

If he really likes you, he'll go to Brazil to see you. In the meantime, don't jump in too fast. You can't really love a person until you've met him in person, because feelings maybe different, and you have to be sure that he's the same and you also feel the same to him in real life rather than just on computer. Don't mix up infatuation, like and love... new relationship always make a person so excited, heart pumping fast, missing him all the time, etc.. and you may think that it's love. I don't know how old are you, but believe me, I've been through alot and made mistakes umpteen times.
Many people would tell you to be careful especially when there are so many con men and fake character in the cyberspace nowadays, and I would say that it's possible too, but at the same time, would also say that there are many genuine people on internet chat. I guess it all goes to your own instinct whether that person is real or not real. One good news is, there are many cases where the relationship and real love actually happens from internet chat. Mine is the best example. I've met so many people on the internet, met them in real person too, in my own country, but didn't really work out. It was when I met my current fiance who is 11 hours' flight away from me, that I believe in long distance relationship and true love really exists. We liked each other very much and have chatted for months, before we meet each other in real person, and that's why we fell in love, and I'm going to migrate there soon next year to live and marry him. My another internet friend from Mexico, also fell in love with a girl in Holland. He just recently flew there to be with her and will migrate there too.
So, hope this is an encouragement to you. Let him go to meet you first in Brazil, and see if things fall into place. Of course you will feel insecure now because everything is so uncertain. It's when everything is certain and clear, you will then truely feel the love and happiness. Good luck. :)

Well if u love him I think u should give him a chance and if he is willing to come down to Brazil just for u and he is so far away. Girl thats love. I think the way u make him seem is that he is a really good guy so give him a chance to meet u and see if u connect better on the computer or in real life.

Hello there.. You can't judge a person just from chat.. It is risky to get involved in an affair without knowing him properly.. For a year or two just remain formal friends.. See that you get to know him properly during that time.. Avoid going to lonely places with him.. If everything is fine even after two years and if u feel U've known him well and that he could be trusted, finally approach a genetic counsellor and then register for marriage..

You cant love somebody you dont know. I love John Stamos but I know that it is acting and I can go out and find someone who is real. Watch what you find on the internet. People are condescending and manipulative. Be careful there is no catch.
