The record is inflated by the shootout and 4 on 4 overtime hockey. When the playoffs start and the shootout goes away and all OT is 5 on 5 it is a much different game. I know all to well about a record being inflated by shootout wins I live in Dallas.
Right now the Sabres have 5 wins by shoot out 4 wins by 4-4 OT in the old NHL the record would be 11-3-11 at worst 15-3-7 at best. Either way the record is a lot different than 20-3-2.

Oh, to be able to make a pilgrimage to HSBC Arena!
Being a Sabres fan out here in Dalware sure can be tough. Only getting to see an occasional game on TV, never finding any Sabres gear in stores, having to listen to the games on internet radio, only occasionally finding another Sabres fan... But at least I get to brag about how much better they are then the Flyers. Now, if only I can convince my wife that spending $300 for a round trip-flight and tickets to a home game would make a great present.
And yes, Miller IS awsome, but so is Biron. And how about Drury, and Briere, and Afinaganov, and hell, the rest of the whole damn team! Anybody else have only 5 losses? Lindy Ruff is SO going to win Coach of the Year again.

LETS GO BUFFALO, it so so sweet that Buffalo is kicking A$$ and taking names. The leauge will try anything to stop us small market club doing good (the leauge will not have that!) last nights game was a good example of how they are going to try and sqrew us (penalities) but we will overcome! LETS GO BUFFALO!!!!

They're doing well 20 wins out of their first 25.
Just remember that last year Ottawa had 21 in 25.
Don't plan the parade just yet it is a long season.
