A lot of this depends upon the discovery of water on the moon, which is thought to exist below the crust at the south pole. If it is found, the moon astronauts will use natural resources (water and dirt) to build adobe style buildings in which to live and work. They will still have to wear space suits, but will be able to drink the moon water and breath oxygen derived from it. They will also be able to derive rocket fuel from it, so missions to Mars and the outer solar system can originate from the moon where it takes much less energy to escape gravity.

So, basically, if water is found, life will be that of a space suit wearing mud hut dweller - or that of an astronaut trapped in a tin can that takes off from the moon to explore our solar system.

If no water is found, the lives of astronauts probably won't change much, unless we send a manned mission to mars. In which case it will be similar to what it is now, just a lot longer in duration and a lot riskier.

Think of the earth as a space Ship and we are on a very long journey. The air is recycled by plants and photosynthesis and the fuel is recycled by part of the same process. How did the fossil fuels get there in the first place.

Nonexistant. The energy fields of our planet are what support life. Go outside of our Earth for too long and you will find yourself slowly falling apart.
