Food is important isn't it? If you have money, you don't have to work for the food ( though you have to work for the money). So it kind of makes things simple. The problem is when people treat it as more than an object, they love it, like they ought to love people, who they treat as objects.

But money is important, I'd love to be rich, and I will work for it. But its because of people. I can't keep myself, and more importnatly the people around me happy (read comfortable) if I don't have money. Don't ever forget, there is a reason for money. As somebody once said, "It is a kind of spiritual snobbery that makes people believe that they can be happy without money" and as Robert Kiyosaki's rich dad said "The lack of money is the root of all evil". But I find that the last statememnt is true in only mostly day to day circumstances. Hope that helps.

Since we pay for everything with money, i.e. food, shelter, clothing, electricity, etc., we do have to have some money in our lives. When most people ask that question the person asked presumes you are talking about money for more than the necessities of life. If the basics are covered I believe people can be happy without money for extras. Personally, I like having enough money to do the small things, like eat out, buy books or DVDs, or travel to other towns, but I could be happy without them, if I had to. I think as long as you have good friends and your health you have everything you need.

No I dont. I believe money is very important and we would all eventually die with out it. But I believe that friends, family and the experiences you have during your life are more important. I mean it goes back to the basic question: Would you rather have all the friends in the world, the most supportive family and have all the fun you can... or have all the money in the world with no friends, no real family... I mean moneys nice but its not everything... as you get older you realize what really matters in life and for some pple it is money. But lifes not about money... its about everything else.

It is true that you need money to survive and without money you will be miserable because you wont be able to provide for yourself and family without it BUT money isn't everything because it doesn't buy happiness, quality time, and all the other little simple things in life that make you feel good.

Money sure isn't everything, It does help loads though especially if you have a family to feed and clothe! But money cant buy happiness and it cant buy you love either! Think about it..Everyone has friends, money cant buy your friends or... buy you the things that actually mean the most to you in life.

I think that money is a whole lot important i mean without it you would not have a home or food, money is important but with no one to share you happiness with i think that money has less value. When families have money problems though they tend to be un-happy because people need money to fell secure and by having lots you are a happier family because no one is afraid there will be no food next week. I would choose my family over money any day though, because my family is worth the world to me! So even though money is important so is your family=)

I think money is everything. If you want ANYTHING in life, then you need money in one form or another. Money doesn't buy happiness, or love or any of those old sayings, but it does give you the luxury of having the choice. In the end YOU make yourself happy or sad with any situation you're in.

FROM A SONG I ONCE HEARD...

[JD]In the Ferrari or jaguar, switchin' four lanes
Wit' the top down screaming out Money ain't a thang
[Jay-Z]
Bubble hard in the double "r" flashing the rings
With the window cracked, holler back
Money ain't a thang
[JD] Jigga, I don't like it if it don't gleam green
And the hell with the price
Cuz the money ain't a thang
[Jay-Z] Put it down hard for my dogs that's locked in the bang
When you hit the bricks, new whips Money ain't a thang

Money is not everything...trust me. We don't need to have lots of money to have our needs met...shelter, clothing, healthy food.

We can have that and even some luxury items, and live comfortalby with average money. Steady job..ya know.

But, outrageous money doesn't bring happiness. I dated a millionaire...he was miserable to be around...I stopped seeing him.

I live a moderate lifestyle, but I have so much peace and joy in my life. "Peace of mind" is worth more than any amount of money you could ever obtain. (Can't put a price on it!)
