I have a red dress, about 1" shoulder straps, V down to the bosom, gathered waistline, and hits right below the knees. It has a silk bottom layer and sheer material overlaying that. Is it okay to wear nude hose, brown strappy sandals, a white camisole, and white cardigan?

If you feel confident in your outfit, then yes! Unless you live in NYC or something where fashion is more important.......

Why would you want to wear a white camisole? Are you planning on wearing it underneath your red dress? I'd say go for it as long as you feel comfortable and confident with it. Also, make sure the cami is ultra thin because if it's peeking out of your red dress, it'll look strange. If the dress is long, forget about the hose. Can you wear black strappy sandals and a reddish, holiday cardigan? I'm not talking about those really unstylish, cheesy, Grandma cardigans. Maybe a short, cropped cardigan would look cute!

Nude hose are fine - but you want to go with black shoes - or red. A camisole - I'm assuming won't show. If it will - don't wear one - just do a strapless bra or whatever won't show. A white cardigan? Like a sweater? No. Get a little black bellaro jacket - or some sort of shawl - black would be best.
Wherever you're going - have fun as the lady in red!!

if the event is summer outdoors and daytime, then white cardigan is ok. otherwise i'd go for some kind of pashmina or little evening shrug/jacket.
nude hose i would frown upon. if it's summer, no hose. if it's winter, black hose, black shoes (and not strappy sandals, but a closed toe).
it could also be fun to mix in a camisole that's not white but something less expected (fuscia? a jewel-toned purple or green? cream or ivory?)

The dress seams very pretty but please never consider wearin pantyhose with any type of sandal!! If i were you i would wear the hose and get some cute black heels ((i'm tall so i wouldn't wear heels)) but if your short do that!! but if your tall wear black slip ons or something..

Are the sandles dark brown, I think dark brown would be ok. Or maybe some black shoes. Everything else sounds nice.

Well If you have great legs and feet and like to show them off I would wear like a glass slipper with like shiny rhinestones on them
