Don't stress yourself out, stress releases toxins in your body, so try to relax and calm down. I didn't have any symptoms until I was 13 weeks, so for the last week and a half I've felt like total complete crap (can I say that?) I had a miscarriage in Jan. at 16 weeks and the closer I get to that mark the more I scared and worrried I feel, especially since I'm feeling physically ill right now. But the important thing is to try not to worry. Trust me, I know how hard that is, it's so much easier said than done, but keep yourself occupied, take warm baths and read a book or take a walk or something. You can't predict what will happen but you can enjoy your pregnancy now. There are no signs of a missed miscarriage, the only tell tale symptom maybe is the disappearing of all pregnancy symptoms that you might be experiencing. But don't look for those things. I had an infection and I find myself looking for signs because I don't want to miss, in the meantime I'm stressing myself out, you'll do that same. Take it easy, pray, meditate and try to focus on the miracle taking place right now and not the loss that you experienced last time.

No bleeding is very good. So are the sore boobs; plenty of hormones circulating. Expect some cramping for the first few weeks; it's part of your uterus setlling down,
I have five kids; I never experienced any symptoms until I was about 9 or 10 weeks; sore boobs, morning sickness, nothing except occasional cramping, like mild period cramps.
My heart goes out to you. My sister miscarried her first baby three years ago, but went on to have 2 healthy girls, 14 months apart.. Best wishes.

It is understandable,
that you are frightened, after your last experience
Try to remain calm
6 weeks is very early, in your pregnancy
you have no bleeding which is a good thing .
rest up, as much as you can (REST)
just be patient and try to relax
, and if the mild cramps, don't get any worse,
.Nature will take its course ,
a lot is going on inside you ......
once your baby, is securely settled, into the wall of your womb
you should become more comfortable .
your baby is quite tough and hopefully ,
all will be well this time .
( if your cramps become severe , don't delay , call your Doctor )
congratulations ---- all my best wishes ,
for a happy and safe outcome .
Let us know how you are getting on :)

I would think since you had a miscarriage last time that they would want to scan you right away this time. I would call and tell your OB/GYN that you are worried and to please schedule you for an appointment and a scan if possible. Generally, if the mother is very worried, a doctor will schedule her for an appointment. If there is some questions, they will usually scan. (At least in my area.)
I could say you might be one of the lucky ones to not get the first trimester sickness and all the yucky stuff. (I hope that's it.)
I hope everything works out for you!!! Good luck!

I can understand your concern..... but try not to worry too much pregnancy brings all sorts of niggles and cramps with my son i started having symptoms at 7 weeks that's when the sickness kicked in I was constantly worried abound the thought of miscarriage and used to dread going to the loo. at twelve weeks I started to relax then woke up one morning at 14 weeks soaked in blood I thought my worst fears had come true but after an emergency ultrasound the baby was fine I had a blood clot in my womb the baby kicking had dislodged it I bled all through my pregnancy and never truly relaxed but I now have a very active healthy 8 year old....... try to relax what will be will be as my son goes to prove if you are meant to be here you will come hell or high water xxx

You probably have nothing to worry about. It is definitely scary those first few weeks. But just because you had a miscarriage once, doesn't mean you'll have one again. These things are all about waiting to see. Unless you have horrible cramping and bleeding, you don't necessarily have to call your Dr.
I had a miscarriage before I conceived and it was definitely scary the second time around... but you just have to try to relax, take care of yourself and take your prenatal vitamins.
good luck!

Me and my mother were talking about this yesterday. With her first pregnancy (with me) she was so sick all she could she eat was m&m's, but with my sister she didn't feel sick at all. She said her breasts hurt a little and she thought it was probably her period because she had some cramps. Come to find out she was 6 almost 7 weeks. If your not bleeding don't stress yourself out. I'm five weeks pregnant and EVERYTHING hurts. I've had friends that didn't have symptoms throughout they're whole pregnancy. You could just be blessed=)

The fact that there is no bleeding is a very good sign!
Don't worry- not every pregnancy means that you are going to have your head down the loo at all hours due to sickness, or that you will always fall asleep at the drop of a hat.
Just enjoy it. Stop stressing. Although it's understandable, it's not going to do you any favours!

If you have cramping then I would call your local hospital maternity department. When I was pregnant with my 1st daughter, no one told me about sometime having the implantation bleeding when your about 5weeks, so when I went to the toilet and noticed pinky discharge when I wiped I called my midwife straight away. She referred me to the early pregnancy department at my local hospital and I went and they scanned me. I was 5 weeks pregnant so everything was tiny but they can make sure that everything is ok. Try not to worry I know its hard. Do this now.. good luck xx
