I though it was at passengers feet but no.

the latest model have the handle on the the passenger side in the foot well ....... all older models have the handle just below the steering wheel on the steering column ( it is red in colour )it pulls down.. this will release the bonnet there is then a safety catch at the front of the bonnet you push this lever to the left this should open your bonnet

Depends what year model it is. If it's not got a red handle directly under the steering wheel (on the column) it will be behind the Ford badge on the front grille. Flip the badge over and use the cars key.

If it's the same as the Escort there's a red handle on the underside of the steering column that you pull downwards.

the bonnet catch is either underneath the steering column red handle or right hand side above footwell by pedals.

Feel around just to the right of your right shin. Failing that, try the steering column.

If its not secured under the steering column its under the o/side dash panerling

Isn't it on the driver's side, just above the footwell and below the steering wheel?

might be similar to the focous,lift the badge on the front of bonnet and open with key.
