Eight years ago, I left the midwest and headed south to VA. Didn't know a soul here, but I liked the warmer climate, the small town feel and the lower cost of living...Lately, I've been thinking of moving back home where I have family and more support. The only negative is that they live in COLD Kenosha, WI- (over a foot of snow yesterday)!!! I'm trying to come up with a list of pros for returning to this area...can anyone offer some good reasons for living in Kenosha???

The other option is Atlanta, GA. My friend is going there to be near her grandchildren. I could move there . Please help me decide. Thanks

If I had to choose between Kenosha and Atlanta, I'd take Atlanta (probably because I was born and raised in the South). Like you, I hate cold weather and although it does get cold in Atlanta, it's nothing compared to WI. I live about 90 mins from Atlanta and there is always something to do there: shopping, site-seeing (the High Museum is great and there is Underground Atlanta, The Coca-Cola Company, and I have heard the new aquarium is out of this world - unfortunately I couldn't get in last time I was there due to the waiting list). If you are a sports fan: Baseball, Hockey, Football and Basketball. Tons of restaurants and theaters (plays, dance, concerts). I will admit that I have to drive in Atlanta traffic, but of course I am not used to it. My Sister-in-Law lives there and it's nothing to her. You acclimate. As far as support goes, your friend would be there and you can always pick up the phone to talk with family - or just fly out of Hartsfield for a visit! Hope it helps.

The only reason I can think of moving to Kenosha is that it's within commuting distance to Chicago.

How about Madison if you're thinking about WI? It has a very laid back reputation and night life. A friend of mine has lived in Madison for years and loves it.

Philosophy and human morality and reasoning serve for making a extra useful international, and a extra useful knowledge of the international. previous human reasoning no longer something is surely seen perfect or incorrect. We human beings have seen many stuff to be unmoral or inhuman as an attempt to provide everyone a extra useful high quality of life. that's quite much like we've changed our morality by out time.

Sorry....I can't think of any good reasons to move there.....it's much too cold there. I had friends that moved there when I was young.....their family moved back here because of the weather and the roads.
