how about an angel dog or angel toothbrush on top? LOL No you can do things differently that is how inventions come about through creative thinking!

The angel story!
Once upon a time Santa was in a very bad mood. He was yelling and screaming- things just weren't coming together and he had to go on his annual jaunt in just a few hours.
As we all know, the angels helped Santa out, and usually he liked them around because they obediently did everything and anything he asked.
Well, one of the tasks he assigned to angels was to get a Christmas tree and decorate it... this wasn't going very well because this job fell to the very smallest of angels.
There was a tiny knock at the giant door of Santa's castle. When the doors were opened, in came this, the smallest of angels dragging behind her a gigantic tree. She struggled and struggled to get the tree in and with the help of the Abominable Snowman she finally got it upright.
Then, approaching Santa to get his idea on where to locate the Christmas tree, she asked,
"Santa, where would you like me to put this Christmas tree?"
Santa- still an a ferocious mood- screamed,
"Shove it up your a**!"
Now, you know the story of how the angel got on top of the Christmas tree.

I agree, nothing says Christmas more than having as a tree topper the Death Star or Darth Vader

Who says you can't. You can put anything you want on top. Since the tree is not a religious part of the holiday, the religion Nazis can't come after you.

They put a meatball on top of the tree on David Letterman's show one year. I thought that was an original idea.

I have a big pic of Puff Daddy and Biggy Smally wearing santa hats on the top of my tree.

the star represent the star of david. and the angel means peace on earth and what we aspire to be one day. but we can put whatever on the top.

You can put whatever you want onto of your tree! I put a big red bow on mine because it is different!
