just wanted to find out what type of person you are by answering these few questions. personally speaking, for me, the answer is no i don't think i am all that. i don't see myself as being perfect than everyone else in this world, i try to live up to my own expectations and nobody elses. i think that certain people place too much emphasis in trying to aspire to perceived notions of what it is to be beautiful, successful etc.

whose expectations do you live up to? do you believe in the hype that you have towards yourself- or do you agree with the old skool rap title coined by public enemy 'don't believe the hype'? is there really such a thing as a perfect person with all the attributes and none of the imperfections and flaws in a world such as ours today? does the way you think, the views and comments you have, the voice you have and the actions you carry act, define and say a lot about the type of person you are and the way your friends, collegues and family members perceive you?

I've always tried to live up to my parent and grand parents expectations. In some ways I've managed in some ways I've failed terribly.

I live my life by societies normal rules, fit in, work hard and try to do the right thing. The "hype" that surrounds me is that I'm cynical and sarcastic and people know it and tell me all the time.

I'm a nice guy, fair, honest and kind whilst trying to ensure I don't get screwed over.

Frankly I think thats the way people see me too.

I could care less what anyone thinks of me. Nobody runs my life except me. My wife understands and respects me as I do her. I don't put on fronts to impress. I don't do things to impress others either. I do things because they are for the benefit of my family or friends. I give because I want to not out of obligation. Anybody who is not true to themself is living a wasted life.

Each of us is actually several 'people';

There is the you that you really are

...the you that YOU think you are...

...the you you THINK other people think you are...

...and the you most other people actually think you are!

It is a rare individual indeed for whom any two of these are the same person!

I am probably better than my internal hype - it tends to the negative.
