So, that's just for labeling? It does not mean it's a DVD burner?

ok, I checked it out online to answer your question. I went through this not so long ago that is why I know. I had to educate myself too believe me.

SuperMulti DVD Burner with LightScribe Technology - means you have the DVD Burner (hardware) with the Lightscribe (labeling capability all ready loaded in it) No additional software to buy. There should be a disk that comes with you computer for you to load and register the software; but make sure.

Use HP Pocket Media Drive bay to add instant storage ****

You might want to ask about a TV Tuner Card built in as well. If you have cable you can connect the cable to the unit and watch TV. Also see if you have Winintervideo Home Theater or some version. I forgot to ck. for these

Cool a new computer!! Lightscribe will let you burn images and titles on the CD or DVD face. You can create you own artsy images and labels right on the disk. It requires that you burn your CDs and DVD on to a special kind of disk that has a special surface. Let the salesman show you a package of them.

The DVD Writer/CD Writer Combo DRIVE Lets you burn your movies or music onto a blank CD or DVD

Lightscribe only means you can have designs or personalize the CD/DVD you create using a special disk which will tell you from the package of the blank discs you buy in a store. You will not need to buy a separate software as that computer comes with it.

You can copy DVD on to the burner but only if the DVD you are copying is not copy protected.
