i payed about 35 dollars and then I read that ares is 100 percent free. What should I do?

Theres nothing you can do... you got scammed
And yes that is true, Ares is 100% free
The only advice I can give you is try to contact whoever you gave the moeny to and try to see if theres anyway they'll give it back to you

Check the FAQ page for Ares...it should help you. I'm not too familiar with Ares, but I know Kazaa is free, unless you want the "gold membership"...mabye that's what's happened.

Unfortunatley this scam is common on the intardnet. Think of it as a fee for them to find the download site for you. There's not much you can do. Suck it up and think of it as a life lesson. Sorry...

Suck it up. If someone is going to charge you money for freeware, they're obviously not going to issue a refund. Take this as a life lesson: do your research before you cough up your cash.
