Try any place that sells the batteries. I just bought mine at Batteries Plus and they recycled the old one for me.

you can go to a cingular store or should be able to go to any phone store such as cingular, sprint, nextel, so forth to dispose of the old phone battery.

Staples takes them. Sometimes local schools take them to recycle for a fundraiser.

Send it to an elementary school (call first) they collect phones and accessories for battered women.
