you have to remember, the neocons target the uneducated unhappy and misguided people in this country and tell them the liberals are why they are so unhappy, and because they are so misguided and uneducated and unhappy to begin with, they believe it, While the Democratic Party has taken a more middle of the road stance, I just think overall, the Republican party has shown thru taking away money from poor schools, and many many other things, they like keeping a gap there, I am posting a link about the bias and the republican party from the washington post which says That study found that supporters of President Bush and other conservatives had stronger self-admitted and implicit biases against blacks than liberals did.. I can give you a 100 links of different bias showed, while the Democrats have steered away from the far left a bit, they would still be much more likely to see that you got a fair shake, maybe not a free ride, but a fair shake, which is what MOST blacks want.
But I do agree with the above post that everyone is being used by a political party, just some more than others

Just look at the record. A Republican President freed the slaves, the Democrats wanted to continue with slavery. The first Black Senator was a Republican, the first Secretary of State was a Republican, the Democrats have many empty promises.
The key thing that you point out though is "liberal". As long as the Democratic party is hijacked by extreme liberals (ie socialists), it will not be a pary of opportunity for minorities. If the Republicans abandon their conservative principles (as they have done in recent years), it will not be a party of advancement for all Americans.. We still have to look at the individual candidates, bottom line.

Well then I would encourage you to vote independent then.
Unless you are Haliburton or an oil company you're not
going to get much love from the Republicans.
I know that there were alot of other mitigating factors for
Katrina but I still think Kayne West was right when he
said what he said. If Katrina happened on 5th Ave. It would
have been over in a couple of days. Not months.
See "When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts"
before you decide who to vote for.

it fairly is a topic-unfastened slant that many placed into the political section. it fairly is meant that once you're a Republican, you hate minorities, do not prefer to help the needy, and are at superb, a card-donning Klansman There was a term that has on condition that been conveniently phased out SOUTHERN DEMOCRAT the must haves for being a southern Democrat replaced into in actuality to have been Democrat with the aid of family contributors lines (aristocracy), and often a member of the Klan or sympathetic to the 'reason'. i'm not talking touching directly to the Klan right this moment. The Klan right this moment has gotten clever and is extra a white version of the NAACP. to not say they dont have their circulate burnings and rallies, yet they're extra political now. the real nuts are the Aryan international locations. they think of the klan is basically too wishy-washy. The Klan i'm talking approximately is torch-bearing, lynch mod Klan. question: What political occasion replaced into George Wallace from? He particular weren't Republican, no sir-ee. He ran as Democrat thrice and self sufficient as quickly as. plenty for the Democrats being for the 'people'. i've got faith that the Democrats keep the common black american like a mushroom, 'coming up' evil whitey as a manner to generate votes, and supply the blacks somebody to hate (different than them). businesses like the Rainbow Coalition, and NAACP have become redundant (after all, we've a black president and are all meant to be making a song Kumbaya arm in arm now), yet they keep digging up evil white adult adult males to lynch. the superb factor to do is go away a dull canine die. pointing out racism each and all of the time reasons extra issues than it solves. Isnt it weird and wonderful that when Candaleeza Rice had one on the precise slots interior the white abode, she replaced right into a 'lacky' of George Bush? If she could have been a Democrat, they could have been prostrating themselves till now her. Has absolutely everyone heard of Alan Keyes? He ran for president, yet God forbid there is such a factor as a conservative black guy. I even have heard bill Cosby saying some particularly profound words of information, and am putting out to think of he may well be a extra doable candidate for president in assessment to the cutting-edge one. a minimum of he could make blacks and whites snigger.

So, if I understand you correctly, you have chosen to be disregarded and marginalized by the Republicans rather than being pandered to by the Democrats.
That of course is your choice and when Bush and his masters are throwing you into jail for not being "freedom loving" enough, probably some Democrat leaning ACLU lawyer will try to get your non-pandered-to black *** out.
Good luck to you

Everyone is being used by a political party, but if you look at what the Republicans have done in the last decade or so, I certainly wouldn't vote that way if you're dead-set on never voting Democrat. You may be "selling out," as you say, but if you vote Republican you're voting against your own interests.

democrats support funding for programs like welfare, medicaid, public housing, unemployment, the republicans would rather give that money as tax breaks for the obscenely rich. the democrats support standards for occupational safety and health, the republicans are trying to undermine the workers compensation program, Anyone who makes less than 100,000 a year, anyone who actually works for a living, would be silly to vote for a republican
