Yep, once you've done that the real key to making it work is sticking to it and keeping it simple. Don't involve other people the both of you know or it will be easier for you to lose control of it. Also, the more you make yourself believe it, the easier it is to stick to it. I know this makes me sound like a pathological liar, but I only use it when I absolutely have to. I've never done it to someone I care about...just the rest.
