I'm pro-choice, but like most Americans, I can see both sides. I think that a woman has the right to have an abortion as long as it's done early before the baby is viable. I do not believe that abortion should be encouraged; I believe that a woman should be told her options. And I believe that partial birth abortion should be outlawed.

We can debate this issue till' the cows come home, honey. But the thing about humans is that we're going to do what we want no matter if it's right or wrong. Everyone makes mistakes, and honestly I think abortion is a mistake. I also think having a kid that has no father or mother who loves it or abuses it, is a mistake also. So until every person on this earth is able to live a life without sin/mistakes, who are we to judge?

Pro-Life, I have been a medical claims examiner for 20 years. In all those years, I've never seen a case where a women was in danger, because of being pregnant. And the cases of Toximia (SP) that I've personally known about, the women wanted their babies.
As for rape, it is also rare that a women will get pregnant from the incident, and there is now the after unprotected sex drug a women can get in the emergency room.
Other cases of being locked and continuously raped are extremely rare.
And I truely believe life begins at conception and it doesn't matter if the unborn child doesn't feel pain or not, because it's still murder.
Also there are many advances in medical science which are making abortions completely unecessary. (I mentioned one of them already. The after unprotected sex drug. Better PC methods etc, etc, etc.)

Sorry to disagree, but I am totally certain that it is not up to me to prescribe to other women how to live their lives.
I assume that any woman who considers abortion has very good reasons.
I do not consider the British way of going about things to be ideal, especially since termination is allowed after the time the foetus could be kept alive outside the womb, but apart from not setting a time frame of 12 weeks, except in situations where the mother's life is at risk, I would consider it one of the best abortion laws.
If you follow the discussion anywhere you'll see that a lot of anti-choice people are not in the least concerned about human life after it is born, many of them support capital punishment and the abolition of social welfare.(That's why I refuse to use the term "pro-life" for them, they are pro-control or anti-choice/abortion.)
So it is really about controlling women and forcing them to live their lives in a way they are supposed to by certain groups, or else "face the consequences".

i believe that abortion as a means of birth control is a crime against God and man.to take a human life because you just didnt happen to take your pill or have a rubber on you is the most stupid and hateful thing any woman could do..however i also believe that if a woman was raped, she should not have to carry the rapists child.or if the mother was in danger from carrying the child, she should have that choice.after all it is her body.children are a gift from God.if you dont plan to have one get fixed or use protection.simple as that.

i am not fond of the act of abortion but im also not in the business of telling other people what to do with their bodies...
and if you let some of these people tell it...we are all murderers everytime our period comes around or we have a miscarriage...because that was a "life"...boo hoo...
ill bet these same hypocrites have no problem with the death penalty...because we all KNOW that everyone in jail is "guilty" or "sinners"...
even though (far as i know) the bible says that ALL flesh is sinful...(this does not exclude newborn babies)

I'm pro "make your own decision". Let the choice suit the individual circumstance. I'm not in a position to dictate what other's should do. Every situation is different.

A woman should have the choice. You mustn't force her to put her body through something she doesn't want.
