You always knew, didn't you, that once the Chinese and Indians were given their head by way of the abandonment of collective folly, communistic socialism, that they would forge ahead.
The changes started in China back in the late 1970s when Pres. Nixon went to see Mao. Don't ask me what they were talking about but both stayed together in a locked room for four hours. Okay so they were telling rude jokes about Henry Kissinger.
Oh yeah! Another thing. The Chinese had their industrial revolution while we were still working our way through the Dark Ages following the fall of Rome.
Also, back in what we call the Middle Ages, the Chinese fleet, consisting of hundreds of Junks the size of US aircraft carriers, sailed around Africa and brought back a wide selection of wild animals, including giraffes, and plants to China for study.

Indians are people with great tradition and culture.CHINA and INDIA were the two countries that attracted the europeans during the age of exploration.They were rich in the case of spices ,jewels and precious stones.They are still rich in many ways

Very taken with it ...have you seen the property prices .nice pads very reasonable - the only thing that worries me is the Water & Sewage set up... & Snakes... the Indians are doing their best to Westernise.. China - Scary Nation - who are censorship & control freaks.. and besides that they love Rover cars...Dont think I will ever visit China..

Insofar that everybody deserves their turn at the trough, Great, it's just their turn. Although I hope China has a few problems, to balance it's human rights record.

They provide us with cheap stuff, though could do it in a cleaner way, and business could show some loyalty to the UK workforce
