You should try orkut or Yahoo 360 degrees in that order.Search does not return any result as this is personal info.

If u have his e mail adress , u can chk out on vrious friendship sites like yahoo360,myspace,orkut, tagged and so on..if not then try to put his name on serch engines and if he has posted his name or anything under his name u would get it but that would be too time consuming and he may not answer you.. Chat room is waste of time u dont find persons there u know unless u know which chat room heor she goes regularly to and which id he or she is using...then if u know which city he or she lives u can try various sites which tell u whats the adress..like Hritik did in Kabhi khushi kabhi gum.....or u can browse through the telephone directory of that city if u can get hold of that..but the chances are very limited if u had a net friend...best is try serch engine ..good luck if u can find....and if his/her name is very common like John Smith..chances of finding him as as much as finding a needle in sack of hay... btw good luck..never count ur luck out...sometimes u try it on google and the very first site tells u about him or her..another point is if he or she writes blogs then try bloggers.com too...but i wont count much on anything.

If you know where he/she went to high school try classmates.com or highschoolalumni.com about a third of my high school class is registered on there. If they have a unique name you can also search yahoo's white pages directory to try to find their phone number
