The pilot light was out for about 12 hours. How long should it take for hot water to come out after the pilot is lit back up?

Well it appears it took about 40 minutes indeed. Hot water has returned.

not long,if the the pilot light on,and the boiler kicks in when you put tap on etc,the water should be very quickly, why did the pilot light go out? either gas pressure fault? is the water pressure ok,you need minmum 1 BAR+ for boiler to work,no water pressure no heater, they need top up every so often, theres a small fill up tap,if nu sure get someone who know more.
hope this helps :)
