We were sitting around and this came up and we could not figuire why. Anyone got an idea?

Heres why. Red and Yellow are the 2 colors that will catch your eye first. Next time you are taking a drive look at all the signs for restaurants and stores. All have red or yellow in them.

It's possible that red hair makes people more distinct and therefore more successful. Maybe back in the day, there were fast food owners with every shade of hair color but only the red ones survived.

That's a good observation! It shows you are a thinking person. My guess, is that it has something to do with the chemicals in the RED meet they serve. You are what you eat after all. I'd bet they never had red hair as a children.

I've heard that the colors red and green cause people to gain an appetite. For example, at Ci Ci's pizza, two of their colors are red and green, because these two colors make people hungry.

well Wendy is a real person and really have red hair...and ronald has red hair cuz he is as clown and the King has brown hair..not red

because it used to be known that the colors yellow and red make you hungry.... that is why mcdonald's is red and yellow all over.
and maybe its because red hair is unique-r than other natural hair colors.
and it attracts more attention from far away (like if you're driving on a highway) because its so bright.

The only theory I can think of is red represents ketchup.

Maybe they should've made the Taco Bell dog red too.

Kids like primary colors ... red is logical for hair ... can be seen from a distance ... stands out in a crowd of advertising ..

Red= hungry. When people see red, then dont really pay attention to how much money they spend... its just like shoping at the mall and you see the red sign that says CLEARANCE.
