Do you prefer using the dollar coin or the dollar bill?

Paper bills are easier to transport than coinage. I can see the US Mint argument for wanting to adopt coinage though, it lasts much longer, doesn't wear out like the bills do.

Paper is always preferred.

They keep coming out with coin dollars every few years, but no one ever uses them.

I like to use the dollar coins to decorate money trees as gifts. I prefer paper to spend because they aren't as heavy.

the paper is easier to use and much lighter to carry.
When the government started minting the dollar coins they didnt notice that the size was almost exactly the same size as the quarter so there was confusion with it came to machines.

Definatley dollar bill. easier to carry, and lighter.
