This is a complicated question depending on your point of view.God didnt originate anything since there is no such thing as "a" god. We share the same genetic material as apes (98%) and we are from the same biological family as apes, but there were many versions of hominids between the apes and us along a completely different branch of the evolutionary tree, so we didnt technically originate from apes. "Aleins" is such a subjective term that it really doesnt make any sense. What is an alien? have you ever seen one?Aren't aliens and humans exactly the same thing?I've seen sea creatures that "look" alien. But if you mean from a different planet you need to know that all physical processes everywhere are identical, so most likely an "alien" civilization would result from evolution just like on this planet. Of course the end results of this evolution would most likely be similar yet very different to life on our own planet and humans wouldnt originate from aliens anymore than aliens would originate from humans.OTHER-humans, apes, aliens(and god too since humans created god) all originated in only one place, the insides of stars. Everything that your senses tell you is real, everything you can see everywhere, all of it, was made inside a star. This is a well established scientific fact and there is plenty of evidence that you can look up on the internet for yourself. The real question becomes not so much did where did man originate from?but now that we exist what do we do with this knowledge?
I understand that humans are a way for the universe to know itself since we originated from it. You are a citizen of the Cosmos, as am I, we are the same yet unique, we are all "star stuff". Please do more research on this and continue to ask lots of questions, the most important question which is "Why"?

Christians, Jews, and muslims will all tell you that man came from God - Not that they have any evidence of that, except for a book. Now they are all totally convinced that THEY have the correct copy of the book (they don't) and they are all equally certain that everyone else is WRONG, but there you are.

Scientists and Atheists will tell you that Man came from an Ape - and they will produce a fossil record of some billion years worth to prove their point. They will also demonstrate that in the world of total adherence to Science there is no room for matters of the soul.

Scientologists will tell you that man came from Aliens, but again all they have is a book, and this one isn't even as fictionally fun as the first groups book. Nor as well written.

The remainder of the folks mostly don't care, may choose other, may choose God, may choose aliens, just to be perverse; don't know why they think what they do, but again as they don't care - WON'T CARE - Ever!

Find your own truth. You'll be much happier that way.

"The origination of man is apparent if we read and study the BIBLE. In Genesis, we are told that GOD created "The heavens and the earth" within the six day period, he created everything on earth."

And we should believe the Bible because...? Even if God is the truth, the Bible was written by man. By the way, although many scientists believe in God, no person who even loosely ascribes to scientific principles takes the Bible verbatim.

Homo sapiens evolved from the same ancient ancestor as apes, and not from apes themselves. As noted by another poster, God may be the originator of life and chose evolution to be the governing model for the genesis of new species. How life started is really anyone's guess, and once we get to those very deep questions there is no more evidence to support scientific models thanthere is to support religious ones. I personally don't believe in any god, but I take very seriously people who advocate an interblending of science and faith.

Good question. Also i would disagree with the person that says we are obsessed with knowing everything about this earth. What i will say is that it is damn interesting, and it's good to be knowledgeable of such things. Well, i would go with the "alien" thing. Not only was i spewing up green stuff when i was pregnant, but don't you find it wierd that men like to play radio "titty" with your nipples?. It's as though they are trying to contact outerspace or something, & you are waiting for the antennas to pop out of your head......lol. But on a more serious note.....if the world was formed from the "big bang", which i believe it was, would not all the particles, cells etc come from outer space, therefore making us all alien?. We are not alien to eachother, but we are alien to other planets. I think that cells from outer space formed together during the making of this planet and through evolution......turned into humans. But who knows the correct answer eh.......without 100% proof, no one will ever know.

Why must human being be so obsessed with knowing everything on this planet, and above all why are we so obsessed with having the knowledge of where we truly came from? We are so hungry to be the most intellectual species on this planet.
My belief though is that we originated from apes.... generally the belief that we evolved. Just take a look around the earth and everything on it is constantly adapting, just like we are.... we are constantly becoming more and more a superior species to everything else so when you think about it we probably once had the simple mind of an ape millions of years ago.

The origination of man is apparent if we read and study the BIBLE. In Genesis, we are told that GOD created "The heavens and the earth" within the six day period, he created everything on earth. Evolution is a myth. Satan created that myth and many have bought it. Most of the true scientific community that truly study evolution know this. You have an opportunity to become a part of GOD's Kingdom. It is not too late for you to study HIS WORD. HIS SON came to earth and was SINLESS. HE died on the cross, one of the cruelest of all deaths, so that we woulod have an opportunity to be in Heaven with HIM. Make this your time to begin that study!! Have a great holiday.

Yep, my daddy was a big gorilla. I'm just a chance mutation. Like the chance mutations that designed the Internet I'm using. Whoops, sorry. The Internet happened by chance too, right? Because it's way simpler than a human or a cell, so there's no reason to think it might be designed.
