The soul inside us all is the true spirit present in all.

The Definition Spirit

The essence of life... spirit within every human being denotes the presence of a supernatural being... a source of energy not governed nor tamed by the forces of nature.

Spirit in true sense is that vital life force existing within every living being without which the body would decay and die. The most commonly used nomenclature for the term spirit is soul atman within the body of every living being.

The presence of spirit the soul within the body indicates that it is governing. This spirit soul atman survives without a body but not vice versa. It is the soul atman... the spirit present within the body that has manifested the body. Never otherwise!

In the vast expanse of the Cosmos... it is the spirits that play the governing role. Ever since the creation of the Cosmos by Almighty God... this spirit our soul within has guided the life of every living being with prompts from within.

Does this spirit breathe?

Yes, the respiration which is an essential part of life for every living being is required by this spirit. No body devoid of spirit within requires respiration. This vital life force... the process of respiration is an integral part of the life of spirit that enables the living being to go on and on.

Human beings can never interfere in the world of spirits. Something that we cannot see... the presence of which can only be felt... it is this energizing force of the spirit within every living being that makes the journey of life worthwhile and possible.

Talking of spirits... does not mean the world of spirit as understood by the filmmakers. The make believe world of the spirits as shown in the movies is not the absolute truth. If we say that one can call upon the spirits of the dead... yes, it is possible to invoke the power of any spirit by every human being.

By chanting of the requisite sacred mantra and the prayers... one can always invoke the power of any spirit that has yet to manifest. Once a spirit has manifested a bodily form... the power of this spirit can never be invoked by one.

I again repeat... the power of any spirit that has not yet manifested can be invoked by anyone. But once the spirit manifests a body... it can no more be invoked by one.

Jesus Christ came about 2000 years back. His spirit is always present around us. Any human being can invoke the spirit of Jesus Christ and seek the blessings provided one knows the exact mantra or the prayer to do so. More on god here- http://www.godrealized.com/glossary/Spirit.html

There is the Holy Spirit, pure spirits (angels), spirits that are invented by either man or evil spirits, original evil spirits; the spirit of an age - a particular era in history, and also a kind of a human spirit. A spirit can take shape in the mind, but it is usually something to do with a universal pattern and some stupid psychics call that 'the future in the cards'; its actually comprehensible.

Yes Betty. Spirits are real. There are the alive ones, the dead ones and the spirits. Sometimes they are people who died, but they do not know they died so they wander around the places they used to be. My sister commited suicide when she was 12.
Years later I was in one of the rooms of the house and saw her. She walked with no expression on her face, looking nowhere, just the emptiness, she faded through the wall. Argentox2@yahoo.com

I believe they exist. I once saw an American Indian walk past the bathroom door in my house. He was dressed like an Iroquois Indian ready for the hunt in 17th century drawings. I also had a dream about my dog the night before I found out he had died two days previously. Then six months later I saw him at the end of my bed. Since he had never been on my bed I figured he was officially saying goodbye as I never saw him again. My aunt has a ghost that turns off the tv when it thinks the tv has been on too long.

Of course they are real. Spirits do exist in this world. I have had too many interactions with them to ever tell you no. Usually they have a message. If you are 'seeing' or 'hearing' them. Listen. Once they have done what they have set out to do, they go away.

Absolutely. They are either God's good spirit you feel through His people, worship, an individual experience with God, the presence of angels at the death-bed of his saints OR they are satan's evil spirits. "Modern spiritualism is disguised under many names: parapsychology, channeling, occult sciences, clairvoyance, spiritism, witchcraft, wizardry, spiritual healing, hypnosis, magnetic healing, Silva mind control, yoga, mind dynamics, biofeedback training, psychic phenomena, etc.
Upon first encountering it, people sense that a superhuman power is present; and, fascinated, they dabble with it—until they are controlled by a will stronger than their own. You do not want anything to do with it! "
P.S. It is witchcraft and approaching blasphemy of the Holy Ghost to think one could "channel" Jesus Christ or control Him through "certain incantations" or whatever. One cannot profit from or control the Holy Ghost presence of God or give credit to satan or self for the presence or work of the Holy Ghost. Be very careful!!

Soul: The spiritual element of a person, generally believed to be immortal.

Also, Divine essence.

I have had experiences with spirits, so I believe they are. Many people believe they are real, and many people do not. There is no way to prove if they do or don't exist.

I believe so. I believe there are evil spirits and the "good" spirit of God, who, technically, now is in spirit form as opposed to human. I don't believe in ghosts, however.
