Yes. WarCraft Reign of Chaos and Frozen Throne are the games you played DOTA on.

Warcraft has this online feature called battle.net. DOTA Allstars is a game made by a WarCraft fan and it is a custom game. You click on custom games, and look for a game room hosting DOTA Allstars. You then enter and the game will download it right when you enter the room. You need Reign of Chaos installed before installing Frozen Throne. So basically, DOTA is a game played on Frozen Throne and Reign of Chaos.

You can find these games at pretty much any store that sells computer games.

there is not any 'dota mode', wich may well be a topic? once you're in bnet, basically click create recreation or 'custom recreation' to seek for a dota recreation and connect that, in any different case once you're in LAN basically click create and navigate into the acquire folder and DotA could be in there. If DotA isn't there, while you have got it interior the incorrect folder.
