okay, so we know that Santa Claus doesnt really exist. Him actually being out there is like saying the Tooth Fairy really leaves coins behind under your pillow and she has coins of every currency in her coin bag. thing is, children are still really hyped up about the whole Santa Claus issue; the leaving presents behind under the tree, etc. Being adults who are fully aware of this, should we just burst the children's bubble that Santa Claus dont exist?

Did you not enjoy knowing there would be presents under the tree just for, from this happy, jolly little man? You don't remember being excited when you woke up on Christmas morning to see the milk and cookies you laid out for him had indeed been consumed? They are children. They only get to be children for a short period of time. Let them enjoy their innocence and niavety. Why not? It's just a fun, silly fairytale. There will be plenty of other experiences and situations to dissappoint them in thier adulthood. Let them enjoy life while it is still enjoyable.

i do no longer think of the question is besides the fact that if or no longer God exists; it quite is besides the fact that if or no longer the CHRISTIAN God exists. I have no situation with the concept there replaced into some stress up there that began each thing -- some person, some element, besides the fact that. yet look in any respect the stuff in the Bible. a guy that multiplies nutrition, a guy that walks on water, a guy that lives to be 9 hundred years old, a guy that rises from the ineffective... practice to me that THAT stuff got here approximately.

no I think the best of childhood memories are spend believing in the unknown, think about it when you was a child to believe was to feel the magic of the season. to really feel the love and connection of it all. why take that from a child. as a parent I think it is our Job to make happy memories for example my kids believe in fairy's of all kinds to make it more real I have read stories to them about it made up one or two my self also on a summer night right be for dusk we have a pond we fish in and in that pond fairy's ride on the back of dragonfly's it you tickle the water just right the the dragonfly's with fairy's on there backs will rise out of the water very magical moment. to watch kids just look with wonder each time I have done it . Our Christmas tree comes up on the day after Thanksgiving but not one present is under the tree until Christmas morning ( i put them out before I go to bed ) all presents are at my dads till Christmas eve I go and get them or he bring them to me after kids are tuck in bed fast a sleep.
Its all in the way you do things to keep the children from finding out there not real but who to say there not you have to believe even when you can not see A parent that takes time to make magical moments with there kids are happier parents I believe that all things in life are real at some degree . If you stop believing in magic and the love ,warmth and joy it brings then whats the point of doing it any more. it will lose its a peel

Santa does exist. he was the smelly druken guy in the red Santa suit that would come home late Christmas eve, stagger into my bedroom, tell me that my Mommy was a whore and I was not of his loins, and then beat me until I could not cry out anymore. Then he would beat up Mommy and knock down the Christmas tree.

I would say it depends on how old they are. At a certain age, loss of innocence is inevitable. If this issue bothers you and you someday have children, you don't have to raise them with the belief in Santa Claus at all.

So, you're now, what 14? And you've finally realised, so now you want to act all "grown up". Cast your mind back a few years. I bet you used to check under the pillow, just like everybody else.

Leave childhood to children.

NO!!!

They should have that fun part of childhood because they are only little once & they only believe for a short time!!!

Then they have to face the real world like the rest of us!!!!
