How sweet are you for being concerned. My first husband pretty much treated me like a freak my entire pregnancies, but my present husband treated me like a queen. (for the most part)
It sounds like you are taking good care of your wife. the throwing up is so dissapointing. When your back hurts the last thing you want to be doing is bending over the toilet. with you rubbing her back and telling her she's beautiful, you will be doing a great service to her.
And I know this isn't ideal....but at the end of my pregnancy, I had to just throw up sinks because I couldn't get down there in time.
There are a few cold medicines that are safe to take while pregnant...Your doctor will tell you which ones...But keep in mind tthat pregnancy increases nasal fluids so she might always have a nasal drip...(ew) but keeping her comfortable, and as happy as you can will really be appreciated. Soon you will be holding a beautiful baby in your arms and she will forget all this discomfort. IN fact..it will make her appreciate the baby all the more!
Good luck and congratulations on being a future parent!

how far along is she? she most likely is suffering from "morning sickness" Though I don't know why they came up with that as a name as you can suffer it any time of day. It usually is worse in the first trimester but some women can suffer with this for their whole pregnancy. I did. If she is has been vomiting a lot this can cause her back to hurt. I lived on ginger ale and soda crackers. It helps calm the stomach. If how ever it gets worse of continues consistently for more that a day or 2 I would call her Dr. He will be able to tell her what she is aloud to take for it.Mine actually wrote a Rx for it. Good luck I hope this helps some

I'm not sure whether you mean just leave for while she is pregant because of the outbursts, or if you mean leave for good and never come back. But, if you are talking about for good then I think you should at least check on her status with the pregancy and help her when it is needed and then, once the baby is born still be in it's life but, I would give her a shot by waiting until she isn't pregnant either way.

Get her some saline nasal spray, it'll help clear up the cold in no time, before it has a chance to really set it. Works like a charm.
Rub her back, and her feet.
Tell her she's doing a great job growing your baby.

Call your doctor's exchange and request a call back. Describe the symptoms and give the number of weeks pregnant she is, etc.
The doctor may request you take her to the hospital for evaluation.

if there's any worry about her health when she's pregnant, she should call her doctor. but throwing up and a sore back are completely normal.

For the nausea, saltine crackers always worked for me. The back pain I would try a heating pad. The cold and congestion, believe it or not a vaporizer works great and you will need it once the baby arrives.

Take her to a doctor. He will give you instructions for your wife. She can't eat everything, can't lift hard things...
