I've never been shopping for a girl, unless it was for me and i dont know what to get except what we always get her, gift certificate for her nails, thats gettin lame, plz help me!!!!

hey! dont give her a very personal gift like jewellery or a sweater or something coz everyones liking is different. i wud recommend:
a showpeice (laughing buddha for good luck)
a shawl (a nice, big, soft and ofcourse pretty shawl) or a scarf
gift coupon to a lovely salon (make sure its a decent place)
gift coupons for stuff she enjoys doing, like movie tickets (2), book coupons etc.

You could take her our to dinner at a nice restarurant, get her some candles, or take her shoe shopping or get her hair done or maybe the Bath and Body Works Store----they have some awesome holiday scents like cinnamon, brown sugar, gingerbread, peppermint, and of course, my favorite, chocolate. The chocolate body wash is awesome.....so you could do the whole christmas birthday thing if her birthday is a week or 2 away from christmas! As for a restaurant, spend about $20 a person, and take you, your bf and his mom out, unless of course she is married, then take her husband with you guys. Just spend about what you would spend on a nice gift. Sometimes eating out can really be the best thing because you can all relax and get to talk and maybe get to know each other better (if you don't know his mom/parents that well). Good Luck!

Try buying her a new handbag, find out what haobbys she like and buy her something relating to her hobby, or get her some ear rings or bracelet. Most of the time it's hard to buy for a mature woman but something they all like and need is perfume. My favorite is white shoulders. Or find out what her brand is and but her that. Get her a beautiful vase with some beautiful flowers. She will still end up with a nice gift, after the flowers are gone.

If you're on a tight budget, buy her flowers.
You can give her a book (not diet or self help, PLEASE!),
a candle, a cd, or dvd of a movie you know she likes.
You can buy some mix and bake her a nice cake. (you can reap major points w/this one)
