I know I would. I would rather be terminated than be treated like sh!t. There are places that do treat people right anyway.

well if you are willing and happy to be out of a job this day and age then you go for it. Do you have children and or bills to pay.
Sadly there are times that you have to stick it out and at the same time look for a new job even while you are taking the abuse.
If your boss is not the owner of the company then you need to go over your bosses head to personel departmant and lodge a complaint against him/her.
In the past people were treated with respect in most businesses. Today us hard workers are considered a dime a dozen and if we go then someone else will just fill in your spot.
So first...keep your mouth shut and look for a new job...then tell him you quit after you find it.

i have never allowed any boss or any other to treat me badly . If you act respectful then people should give u respect. I would have no problem whatsoever in standing up for myself, even if that led up to a termination.

I would and I did....
I was working at this indian restaurant and my boss was so horrible. I worked in the bar and ran front of house, I'm 23 and he was hiring 14 and 15 yr old girls who had never worked before and they were making shocking mistakes on the till and my boss was blaming me every single time....
The night i went off at him, these customers had been waiting 2 hrs for their meal and walked out without paying for their drinks and he stood in the middle of the restaurant and told them they were fuc#in cun#s!! I was so embarassed to be working there. anyway he blamed me for the last time and i told him to get fuc#ed and he didn't know how to run a restaurant for shi#..
So i got fired but it was well and truely worth it..

I'd be worried. My boss is the nicest guy in the world so if he was mean to me I know something's really wrong. I would let him rant, then I would sit down with him and find out what the problem was. He does that for me when I'm being bitchy.

Yes, I would go right back at them....no reason to get mean or ugly. And then I would head straight to human resources if he/she gave me any more of it. Bosses don't have any right to treat anyone with disrespect.

That has only happened to me once. It was sort of funny, we were nose to nose screaming profanities at each other. The next day he apologized, and offered me a raise.
I gave my 2 weeks notice & moved on to better things. :)

i think its best to politely confront rather than "tell them off." We all know whats appropriate in the workplace and what isnt, and can identify that for the person behaving inappropriately.

Yes,I'd let them have it..No one has the right to degrade you at anytime,I don't care who they are..The job is not worth having if it means putting up with such garbage..trust me..=)
