1) I don't think we know exactly why it crashes, we just know it does.
2) The conch symbolizes power and autghority
3) We learn that he has a savage manner and is possible foreshadowing of his character
4) The hunters are Jack and the choir boys; they hunt for pigs to eat
5) He thinks there is a "beast" that is trying to attack them
6) Ralph proposes that the group build a large signal fire on top of the island’s central mountain, so that any passing ships might see the fire and know that someone is trapped on the island. They collect wood and use Piggy's glasses to start the fire.

1) can't quite remember it's something about not enough boats coming by to see the fire they built

4) The hunters are a group of boys led by one person, they are supposed to hunt the "monster" that's supposedly on the island with them.
5) a little on thinks he has seen a monster in the forest
6) the boys make a fire out of trees and whatnot on the forest floor and they make it in order to signal for ships that come by the island
