Here's what I did to get ready for the SAT.

1. I got a fatty study book from Barnes and Noble, Barons I think
2. I made a deal with my parents that if I managed to make it all the way through the book, they would give me some money as a reward. (I reminded them how much they would save if my score was good enough for a scholarship.)
3. I got a tutor for my weakest subject which happens to be math.
4. I spread out the time I worked on studying over a couple months and did it in short chunks, so it wasn't as tedious
5. I formed a study group with my friends (I learned this usually just leads to distraction, but if you can stay focused, you can learn a lot. It's especially good for learning vocab words.)
6. Getting your stuff together the night before is crucial and get as much sleep as possible. I know this seems obvious, but it's definitley worth mentioning.

As a result, I got a really good score, and did end up with a scholarship. Good luck :)

Go to your local book store and buy
Kaplan SAT ....

You will get a book full of the questions asked on the recent tests and you will also get a CD so you can answer the questions quickly...and it will be important...stressing out is not a good thing...so get right on it.....

Go for it!!!

Pay attention in school, take good notes, and ask questions. If you haven't been doing that until now, you are probably not going to do very well.
