The molar enthalpy of fusion (Delta)H degrees) of ammonia is 5.65 kJ/mol, and the molar entropy of fusion (Delta)S degrees) of ammonia is 28.9 J/mol K. Calculate (Delta) G degres at 25 degrees C. for the melting of 60.0 moles of ammonia. (Enter your answer in kJ).

Using this information, calculate the freezing point of ammonia. (Enter your answer in K).

First, convert the entropy to kJ/mol/K ie 0.0289, and convert the temperature to Kelvin.

Then set delta G = delta H - T x delta S..

Then multiply by 60, for the 60 moles.

For the freezing point, delta G = 0, so T = delta H/delta S.

Now you can do it yourself!
